HOW DESTINATION WEDDINGS WORK
A destination wedding is typically a multiple day shoot, and I always try to get to a location a day or so early; especially if it involves air travel. I am able to photograph the rehearsal evening, wedding day, and a day after shoot.
The day after shoot is where I get some of my best portraits. After scouting some of the most beautiful spots to take pictures in the area, we go out with no time restraints, in a more relaxing atmosphere to get some awesome images. You get to unwind, and just be together as a couple, without the stress of the wedding day to worry about.
Typically, after two or more days of shooting, I end up taking around 8,000 - 13,000 images. On average, I deliver 1,500 - 2,500 images to my couples. Also, when I spend more than a few days at your location, any of the travel images that are taken are also shared with you to enjoy.
